Occupational Therapists at the Royal Children’s Hospital are committed to education and training with students and colleagues within the metropolitan and rural community.

Student placements and observation requests

The RCH OT Department provides clinical placements to students from a range of Universities across Victoria. All requests for student placements are organised directly through the Universities. We are unable to consider direct requests from individual students.

Work experience

The RCH is unable to accommodate requests for work experience.  Tertiary institutions offer a range of open days which provide a great opportunity to learn about the different Allied Health Professions. For further information about the profession, please visit Occupational Therapy Australia.
